2011 Overview of NOMAR Services and 2012 Dues Breakdown

Only $149 of your dues dollars stays with NOMAR. $155 goes to LR (State Association), $120 goes to NAR (National Association) (Click here for an explanation of NAR’s dues), $35 goes to NAR for REALTOR® Public Relations promoting the use of a REALTOR® on TV and radio advertisement. The remainder of the dues invoice is the contributions for MARPAC and Friends of LA Real Estate. These contributions will allow us to continue to fight for issues and legislation supporting our industry and private property rights, as well as opposing adverse legislation which harms our industry. It also allows us to support candidates who support our industry. Your contribution is like an insurance payment. With the critical issues jeopardizing the housing industry, you can’t afford NOT to contribute to MARPAC. Your Association is working with LR and NAR to pass legislation that will ban any new transfer taxes in Louisiana. This will be a major accomplishment and your contributions to MARPAC assists in this huge endeavor. VOTE FOR Amendment #1 on November 19th!

In comparison to the dues of other Associations with services similar to ours, our dues are still much lower than most.
