AFFILIATES: To create and plan programs and opportunities for REALTOR ® networking and exposure.
AFFORDABLE HOUSING: To establish and support affordable housing and development projects.
AWARDS & RECOGNITION COMMITTEE: To recommend any policy or procedure changes which relate to the Million Dollar Awards, and to plan the Annual Awards ceremony.
CHARTER AND BYLAWS COMMITTEE: To review the Bylaws as needed and submit any recommended revisions to the Board of Directors.
EDUCATION COMMITTEE: To develop and implement Continuing Education programs of the highest quality for the membership in the most effective manner.
FORMS COMMITTEE: To review all Standard Forms annually. New/Revised forms must be reviewed and accepted by legal counsel and approved by the Board of Directors. Company representation is limited. Members must have broker or manager recommendation.
GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE: To monitor legislation effecting the real estate industry.
GREEN COMMITTEE: The NOMAR Green Committee's purpose is to facilitate information and education of green products and pratices to and for NOMAR Members. The committee discusses and implements ideas, projects and initiatives that are centered around the preservation of personal health, our environment and natural resources as they pertain to real estate. GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE: To receive Ethics Complaints and Requests for Arbitration and to determine if, taken as true on their face, a Hearing is warranted.
MULTIPLE LISTING SERVICE ADVISORY COMMITTEE: To recommend rules and regulations to GSREIN, which will outline the operating procedures of the MLS, a facility whereby information concerning individual listings can be made known to all REALTORS® who participate in the service.
PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS COMMITTEE: To provide a forum for the Hearing of all complaints and Requests for Arbitration in accordance with the Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual. Members must first serve a minimum of three years on the Grievance Committee.
SPECIAL EVENTS TASK FORCE: To plan and implement all special projects, including but not limited to, the Annual Bowling Tournament, the REALTORS® Day Off, and the Annual fundraiser; to issue invitations to all Association functions to LRA and LREC in order to provide better working relationships.
OTHER COMMITTEES AND TASK FORCES:
The President may, at his/her discretion, appoint additional Committees and/or Task Forces as needed.
