The Nominating Committee has approved the following Slate of Candidates for the 2020 Board of Directors Election. The Bylaws of the Gulf South Real Estate Information Network, Inc. direct that in addition to the Official Slate presented by the Board of Directors, additional candidates for the offices to be filled may be placed in nomination by a petition signed by at least 10% of the MLS Participants (100), prior to 5 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2020. Three (3) open before on the Board of Directors will be filled for a three-year term beginning January 1, 2021. You may cast your ballot electronically through ezVote until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2020. Election results will be announced at our virtual general membership meeting from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

The Bylaws of the Gulf South Real Estate Information Network Inc., direct that no more than one (1) At-Large Director position shall be filled from the same company.  The Board of Directors, shall at all times, be maintained to have at least five (5) of the At-Large Directors Be Participants, Broker Owners or Managers.  For this rule, the manager is defined as one who holds a real estate brokers license and is acting in a managerial capacity.  The NOMAR President and GSREIN Immediate Past President do not count in the allotment.

Thank you for considering me for a position on the 2021 GSREIN Board of Directors. I have been a Realtor since 2018 and achieved higher than average sales each year. Last calendar year sales volume was $4 million dollars and top sales person for the company. I am the Branch Manager of the Weichert Realtors, Loescher Properties office, member of the Grievance Committee, and worked in a real estate office in a marketing role for over 6 years.  My past work experience includes over 10 years of Communications, Public Relations and Marketing leadership for Northrop Grumman, Avondale Industries and Audubon Institute. My education background includes a Masters of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans.
